OUR MISSION
At CASA of Larimer County (CLC), our mission is to advocate for safe, nurturing, and permanent connections to family and community so children who have experienced abuse and neglect can have the opportunity to thrive.
CLC is an independent, registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Tax ID/EIN: 84-1048149). We serve children and families in Larimer & Jackson Counties.
CASA of Larimer County has one of the largest ongoing volunteer needs in our community. With almost 200 active volunteers in our programs, we still need at least 60 new volunteers by the end of the year to meet the need. When a child has faced abuse and neglect, having a caring, stable adult in their life can make a substantial difference. That’s where you come in. A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA Volunteer) is a trained community volunteer who advocates for children with open dependency or neglect court cases, inside and outside of a courtroom setting. Last year we served 622 children across our programs and appointed 181 CASA volunteers to cases. All donations go directly to supporting children across all our programs. Every Duck Helps!
