2nd Annual Fort Collins Rotary Duck Race Logo

1918 and Foothills Rotary Clubs Team Up for 2nd Annual Duck Race

Excitement is building in our community as two local service giants β€” the 1918 Rotary Club and the Foothills Rotary Club β€” come together for an unforgettable event: the 2nd Annual Fort Collins Duck Race! Scheduled to make a splash soon, this fun-filled race is more than just a lively competition β€” it’s a major fundraiser that supports critical projects throughout our community.

Last year’s inaugural race brought smiles to hundreds of faces and raised significant funds for local nonprofits, education initiatives, and humanitarian efforts. Now, with two powerhouse clubs joining forces, the 2nd Annual Duck Race is set to be even bigger, better, and more impactful.

How It Works Each rubber duck entered into the race is “adopted” by generous supporters through the website at fcrotaryduckrace.org. Ducks race down the Fort Collins City Pool Lazy River in a flurry of excitement, with prizes awarded to the fastest finishers. It’s a unique and lighthearted way to make a real difference β€” and maybe even take home a prize!

Why It Matters Both the 1918 Rotary Club and Foothills Rotary Club have long been committed to the Rotary International mission of “Service Above Self.” Funds raised from the Duck Race go directly toward community grants, youth scholarships, food programs, and countless other initiatives that strengthen and uplift Northern Colorado.

Join the Fun! Want to be part of this splashy celebration?Β Adopt ducks and spread the word!Β Β Together, with the energy and enthusiasm of both clubs β€” and the support of people like you β€” we are making waves of positive change. Let’s race toward a brighter future, one duck at a time!
